Strange issue with fuel gage after changing clocks

Post by Imran »

SO, changed my clocks from red to white, all went smooth, no issues

Yesterday got the beep for petrol, put £25 of shell v-power in it, fuel gauge needle went to where it should, drove to work, turned car of. At 5pm left work, started car, and fuel gage was almost a quarter below what it was when I put fuel in it. Thought eh?? no fuel leak no nothing, but as I was driving home it started to creep up, got home and it was almost to the point where it was after I filled up.

This morning, same thing, needle was below where it should be and started to creep up, any thoughts? or will it just take some time to sort it self out? Havent scanned it yet.

EDIT:
Used a friends vcds at work, and theres a fault code, which wont let me clear.

From what I can tell from google, some cars have 2 fuel fuel sensors (4motion) and some have one (2wd) and the adapter I'm using for the cluster has some wires missing :(
