Recommendations for quality tyres??????

Hi fellow B6 owners
Any recommendations for some quality tyres that grip well in all weather conditions?
I understand you pay for what you get so I'm not too bothered on price at the moment!
I have Chicago 8J x 18 Alloys with 235/40 R18 maxxis tyres they an extra lip on the tyres to help protect the alloys from scrapes etc!!
