VW Premium phone kit - compatability??

Not sure if I asking this in the correct section or not.

I am thinking of changing my mobile phone so want to get something that will work with the VW premium phone kit in my 2006 Passat Sport.

My current phone, an HTC-HD7 phone doesn’t work with it, I believe it because of the type of Bluetooth the premium phone kit uses (rSAP).

Anyway can anyone suggest a smart phone that will work with these kits?
Someone suggested to me that the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Nokia N8 should both work, can anyone confirm or deny this?
