DSG

Hi all,
I'm just looking for opinions on the DSG box. I'm still up in the air as to what car to change to but a 2008/2009 2.0 TDI 170bhp Highline wagon with DSG is on the list. As a high milage driver, does anyone know if the DSG is reliable long term? I've seen some stories of gearbox temp. sensors (cheap) and Mechatronic units (£2000/£3000 each!!) failing.
