Is it possible to check the real mileage a car has covered? Is it logged on the ECU so you can check it with VAGCOM (VCDS?)? A friend of mine bought a 2010 B6 saloon recently and we have our doubts as to weither the mileage displayed is correct or if it has been clocked. There has been a suggestion that its logged on the ECU and can't be changed even though some people with exceedingly low morals can and do change it on the dash display... It would be handy when buying a vehicle if you could check it easily.
