No power , 2011 cc gt

Hi , I've had a 61 reg 170 gt for a month , on the last start today I had very low power and would only accelerate very slowly although you can get going eventually , it's not 'limping'. When I stopped , it would only rev to 2500 but assume this could be a built in safety thing .Something tells me it's gonna be a common thing but a search for 15 mins got me nowhere.50000 miles, still in warranty .Cheers , Wag.
