Rear Door Control Modules - HELP!

Hi all,

Hope you all had a nice Christmas. Sitting over the Christmas break, my B6 has an issue which i have no idea on how to fix.

When i first got the car, the garage thought that they would turn on the auto lock feature on for me (using Snap On Diagnostic equip). Anyway, this didn't go so well and now when i lock the car with the fob, the indicators don't flash and it appears that the alarm doesn't activate.

I now have VAG COM and have the following faults:

01333 - Door Control Module Left - No signal/Communication

01334 - Door Control Module Right - No signal/Communication

The indicators used to flash before, i'm thinking that this issue with the control modules is stopping the indicators flashing and stopping alarm activation.

The settings on VAG COM are ok, the comfort setting is set to blink, however when i go to click 'test', nothing happens.

Any ideas on how I go about fixing this issue?
