Just bought 2.0tdi PD 140

I have just purchased a passat 2.0tdi sport with a bkp 140 engine (2008) 90k miles. I have since then read many horror stories online regarding faulty injectors related to the bkp engine and am beginning to regret the purchase. The car currently runs fine but I purchased the car because I wanted something that would last. Can someone that knows what they're talking about either confirm my fears or put my mind at rest please?

It's recently had a new turbo and cambelt. How can i tell if i have the faulty injectors? I have read that VW might pay to fix them, is this still the case?
