Quick question I may be about to buy a Passat TDI 170 CR

Hi it looks like I could be back in a Passat soon the one in question is the 170cr with 140k on it 58 plate
The car is canny a few dings here and there but otherwise spot on except there are two things I'm unsure on firstly

There's no engine light when I turn the ignition on or when it starts it drives well but is it normal? Usually you get a check light on most cars all the other lights come on and go out.

Then there's evidence of either a slow oil leak or an old one behind the engine looks a bit like an inter cooler pipe

Also seems there's a bulb on and off nsr indicator I suspect a shitty bulb or loose wire

It's under £3k 2 owners partial history up to around 110k
