Hi,
My brother purchased a Passat CC 2.0T Petrol and after a week of ownership the car went into limp mode. He managed to get it back to my house where it was smoking and smelt of fuel.
We called the RAC out to diagnose it and they said a misfire in cylinder 2 & 3.
We then had it put on a trailer to his local garage who had a look but didn't want to do the work as they thought turbo related.
So we bought VCDS and hooked it up. There's no faults for a misfire however one for a MAF sensor.
Is this a known issue? should we be looking elsewhere as RAC never picked up MAF sensor on their diagnosis?
Any advice and info would be appreciated.
