Rear Brake Pad change

Hi all,

I am needing to replace the rear brake pads in my 2010 Passat. I have always done pad changes myself prior to owning this car but as the eloctronic handbrake requires the software to move the caliper, I was wondering if anybody can advise on the best product out there (without breaking the bank)?

The last time they were changed I paid the local garage to do the job and they did not seem to do it very well as they were continually binding on both sides during the drive and now they have worn down completely, whereas the front pads have loads of life left in them. In short, I am sure I could do the job and mayy as well spend the money I would save on the software for doing the job!

I would appreciate any suggestions as I have seen some stuff on ebay but I am not sure of the quality.
