CC lowering springs, owners views request

So I’m dead set on lowering my CC, question is, and I have searched a fair amount, which springs, eibach or h&r. Want it low, don’t really want it stiffer but that’s a trade off I’ll accept for the stance, keeping standard shocks (dcc) as no room in budget to change shocks.
Eibach say it lowers 25mm front and 20mm rear, I trust these will be fine for factory shocks.
H&R say 40mm all round, I feel this may add to much strain on the factory shocks (33k miles on clock) but convince me otherwise!
Any owner pictures of lowered CC r lines on factory 18inch wheels? Also what other parts should I be looking at replacing/ upgrading while changing springs, is wheel alignment recommended after?
