Auxiliary Coolant Pump Problems arrggghhhhh

Guys anyone else had their aux coolant pump fail with p261a,b,c error codes and did anyone else these two coming after. P2426 exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve circuit low (short to gnd) and p0047 boost control solenoid a circuit low (short to gnd).
Last two errors only came after the pump had cooked the electrical connection and wires that went into it.
Vw have not clue and want to start sticking parts on everywhere. Been told elsewhere that if I get the pump and wiring fixed it will clear the other two codes as the are all connected.
Any help would be really great.....
