MAP Sensor reading

Good afternoon,

I recently changed my MAP sensor, my 08 B6 is running very well, idle is spot on, pulls great, fuel economy spot, no strange noises apart from Skye Fm radio.

My question is when scanning with my Doctor Pro app the reading is 29hg key in, engine off, spot on, but at idle it reads the same, would it change under load?

Thought it may be the scanner app playing up but tested it on a friend's Seat and it drops to 8hg at Idle.

I have checked every hose etc for any obvious leaks and cracks, like I said, car runs great and I put a new gasket in last year above the swirl flaps so had a clean of the EGR etc whilst doing it.


I am just curious, any help appreciated.
