2.0 TDI Sport 170 - cut out…

Evening all, I left work at 17:00 tonight and my car started as normal. But after driving 50 meters I stopped at the zebra crossing, still on works premises. The engine cut out as I stopped and won’t start again… plenty of battery power but just turns over… 
Any ideas or common issues?
