I have an annoying hum at around 50 mph. It must be a wheel bearing and at 182k it’s not surprising. The problem is knowing which one it is. It sounds like it could possibly be front passenger side. However when jacked up i can’t find any roughness or play in the 4 wheels.it’s not the tyres.
Maybe i should just change the 2 front bearings anyway? Or is there any other way to diagnose. Obviously in the early stages.
In 2 weeks i have a road trip to Europe. Going to France, Belguim and Amsterdam round trip. Should this be fixed asap or will the bearing be ok for that trip?
